their defense is shaky and could cost them. against france, for the first half they played smart possession football AFTER going up. but in the 2nd half they went defensive and france was about to score several times.

the dutch have had their fair share of luck scoring goals first in each game. But lets see what happens when they go behind and have to chase the game. The bulk of their goals have resulted from counter attacks and defensive mistakes from their opposition, but if they played a more packed defense, i don't think they'll do anything amazing like that.

baba jan people see 2 games and take it too far...
it doesnt mean they're gonna stay hot the whole tourny...they have the momentum and it all started with an offside goal

Do you blame them? They crushed the wc06 winner and runner up with beautifull football.

Yeah sure they were lucky on a few occasions but that doesnt mean they didnt deserve to win both games.

Contrary to romania game, france didn't play so bad. Holland = Argentina: it is beautiful to watch but always beatten in 1/4 or 1/2 (by portugal as usual).

Yesterday holland proved that they are very strong in counter attack but their defense isn't so good: they concede too many occasions and they were lucky that France wasn't able to convert them (i precise that the referee didn't see the Ooijer's hand and henry missed a golden occasion at 1/0).
