lets be honest these players wouldn't have been as big as they are if they didn't represent their adopted, or countries of birth. By this I mean that it was their adopted countries which provided the facilities, coaching and opportunities for them to progress in their footballing careers and be able to play for big clubs.

I mean would Zindedine Zidane been as big as he was if he didn't play for France?

Sure he would have improved the Algerian national team but you cant tell me they would have ever been world cup contenders, or been able to compete in euro.
