maybe because they created the win at all costs method: defensive style, unfair play and lack of sportsmanship and dangerous play. also, with players such as totti, cassano, materazzi, de rossi who are experts in trash talking, spitting, and elbowing it is kind of hard to like them.

I don't mind USA too much. I cheer against Bahrain all the time and cheer against Saudi and Qatar as well.

One of the reasons as one said is because of their defensive style and they have a lot of players I hate like Vieri, Inzaghi, Materazzi,...
Also alot of people like them because they think its fasionable or cool and they are more in love with the whole Italian wannabe thing so they love the team. I've never been a big fan since I can remember.
