So if the rest of the world are simply bandwagoners, what does that make you guys, unless you live in the area of course, because im sure you are all diehard fans of your local iranian team but theres no way you guys are heavy anderlecht or feyenoord supporters, you want to support the team that has the world class squad that wins..right?

look im sure some of those people are true fans but i stil believe that the majority of the fans that support those clubs do it only because of the success. Look at suprah. He is a manchester united fan. A team famous for its bandwagon fans but would i consider him one? no way. You can tell that the man bleeds red. If manchester fell to the third division he'd still follow them. THAT makes you a fan. Undying servitude. When you pick a club you shouldnt go automatically look at how many championships they have or whether they have a billion dollar payroll. You should like the culture of the club, the players, the fans themselves. For example, lets say your picking a baseball team. YOu shouldnt go : "well yankees have the most championships, so im a yankee fan now!" or "Well boston won te world series, so im red sox fan now!" That smacks of classness and immaturity. Im tottenham fan till i die. I picked because of their fans, the culture and the entertaining football they play. Im not saying that everyone should go and be a sunderland fan but when i hear someone say "Im a manchester united, real madrid, bayern munich fan!" That makes my head turn.

I for one am not a bandwagon supporter I have explained before in previous threads.

There is no comparison between Real and Barca in terms of achievement. We have owned them since the begining of time. And we have always maintained an attractive style of play , no matter what these new bandwagon barca supporters say.

I will give them this though , they have always had nice looking jersies and have had some of the best play for them. I like their style of play.
