Now you might watch this and say but this is so ordinary. First of all he did it on a regular basis and since there was never a bending of the shot invloved the golaie knew where the ball was going and he still couldnt stop it. Look at this goal, the goaile is much closer to his right hand post and he still cant stop the shot!! Thats what I mean by powerful and speedy

dont know about the oldies like ronald koeman, but juninho is definiatley the ultimate free kick taker, he is awesome.
and yeah roberto carlos is actually pretty shit at free kicks and that one against france was a fluke more or less. Some goal but !

to me the best free kick shooter of all time is ronald koeman. for those of you who saw him play he was amazing. There was no bending at all. It was straigh all the time and the goalie had an idea where he was going to shoot but the kick was so POWEFULL and fast that the goalie couldnt stop it. He was unique

That said, Roberto Carlos had really poor accuracy sometimes and used power all the time

just because he had powerful shots doesnt mean they werent accurate.
