As far as I know, he had passed a medical at Citeh, agreed personal terms, and had more or less signed the contract. Work permit is the last thing to be done here in the UK as for some players it is just a formality who have found a proper employer and agreed to work. Without signing a contract with the club, he could not have applied for a work permit.

He did sign the contract, but Home Office refused to give a work permit which more or less over-ruled Nashat's agreement with the club.

So I wouldnt exactly call it a lie

The nature of the Arabs is not racist becuse we solved our racisism problem since 1400 years ago after Mohammed's (Pbuh) massege. Before islam Arabs in Mecca used to look to the black(like Bilal) , prasian(like salman) and Romans(like suhaib) as low class people and they did'nt like the idea to be equal with thim in Arabia thier home land but at the end Mohammed and his companians won .

You saw some Arabs "are not that stupid" to hate Persians because of Ethnic reasons? YET Iranians are stupid to hate Arabs because of ethnic reasons?
