I agree, there shouldnt be too many concerns about Israel qualifying, Greece will probably finish top of the group, we have a much better team, bench and set of youngsters than both Israel and Switzerland

my dear friends you missed the point: most of us don't want israel in. but thats not because of israel itself (for most of us atleast).

if israel and iran both qualify, and get in to the same group in the WC, iran won't let our TM participate in the WC. that happend to our basketball NT for example, and wrestlers etc.

Dude I'm not trying to piss you off or anything but I lived in Glendale California, which has a huge Armenian population. Millions of them were killed so if it was not the Turks then who was responsible for the Armenian Genocide? Clearly it happened because I spoke to older Armeinais who lost loved ones because of it. Did 1 million Armenians just suddenly disappear off of the face of the planet? The bottom line is it's all about $$$$$$ dude. The Turks don't want to admit responsibility for the Armenian genocide because they don't want to pay retribution to the Armenians.

That's the last I will speak about that topic let's focus back on FOOTBALL.

I read somewhere that if Iran qualifies and is placed in a group with Israel, the IR will look the other way and let them play. Can you imagine the uproar in Iran if the IR forces Iran not to play in that game and lose 3 points? There would be another revolution right there on the spot my friend.

would be cool, but i'm a bit pessimistic. i really don't know...on one hand they did that with the basketball,judo karate teams and many more...on the other hand: TM would be a whole new dimension.

What an intelligent post. Let me just give you a piece of advice as an Iranian with Turki blood. Dude if we are talking about FOOTBALL there is no reason to bring up the Armenian genocide. I would love to debate with you about this issue in another thread, related to HISTORY, and get your persective on it.
