I"m surprised the Lakers were able to pull that one off I"ll give him props nice block Kobe. In this young season we are already 2-0 agaisnt Denver. It seems like Kidd wants to be traded and it's either the Cavs or the Lakers. I was listening to Mike & Mike in the morning. I still would not give up Andrew Bynum bcause he ahs so much upside and Kidd probably has one or maximum two years left of playing at a high level. Bynum could develope into an all star and it's hard to find a dominent center. He came a long way and is getting better every day.

I woudn't mind trading injury prone Lamar Odom and package him with say Chris Mihm(Sp?) or say Kwamie Brown.

i know it's way early to say this BUT mark my word on it BOSTON CELTICS will win it this year.. i've watched couple of their games this year and i have never enjoyed watching celtics play but they play unbelievable bball

He has basically started a longterm plan to pace himself physically so he can have a longer "productive" career by the time bynum is seasoned in 2 years.

NBA exec. say they look at KObe as a 32 year old b/c of his mileage. The way KObe is playing right now, no matter what the lakers will benefit.

1) The rest of the guys are being very active offensively so if they actually improve so the lakers can win, then they can do actual damage in the playoffs and gradually get better for the next 2-3 years

2) if they dont, then KObe hasnt worn himself out and the lakers will add a nice piece to the puzzle via nba draft.

I agree with you Persian Bruin last year that trade would of made sense, but now it's to Lakers disadvantge to trade Bynum. The kid worked hard in the off season and it shows. I just wish that Jackson would play Javaris Chritension(SP?) aka Critter the GT guy we drafted after his Freshman year. This kid is a playmaker and every time he steps in the court he does well. He also seems to have a bond iwth Andrew Bynuma and they seem to mesh very well.

I jsut came back from watching him live at Staples Center in the Lakers Clippers game. The guy is just being more aggressive this season and he is penetrating to the hole.

Persianbruin, Lebron vs Kobe might be a good match up, but the Cavs are terrible this year. I actually expect them to go 4-0 on this road trip and their toughest game was Chicago. They should beat Cleveland and the horrible New York Knicks.

Yes but will the other 4 Cavs starters be motivated. It is not a one man show and Kobe has a lot more help than Lebron. The Cavs have been so far one of the biggest disappointments this season, after they were so successful last year reaching the NBA finals. I thin that Kobe and company will prevail in a close battle. I am really impressed with the rise of Andrew Bynum. I was the only person last year, who got a lot of slack from my friends, because I said trading Bynum and Odom for Kidd was STUPID! The kid is developing well and can be a regular all star in a few years. He has all the tools to do it and the kid is only 20 years old. Kidd has only a few good years of high level basketball left in him.
