USC is gooz reletive to the USC of 2004 for sure. But compared to college football teams of this year they are actually pretty good. Problem with USC is that they have waaay too many 5 star players and it takes a few games for the coaching staff to figure out what the best lineup would be ( embarassment of the riches). Bias aside the last 2 years big 10 has been a little overrated. I myself truly believed Michigan should have had a rematch last year against you guys for the national championship. Michigan's trashing by USC coupled by the "eftezah" score that you guys had against a UF that squeezed themselves in thanks to us, proved me wrong and also proved how weaker big 10 has been the last 2 years. Bottom line is while I love for PAC 10 to have a strong showing, I dont mind if USC gets bounced out of the championship game yet one more time!Originally posted by ShahHouman View PostUSC's gooz, dont get me wrong....but i dunno, they just dont seem invincible like a lot of #1 teams in the past hav seemed like

No I think USC learned their lessons from last year. I don't see them losing to an unranked opponent on the road this year. I think USC's biggest chance of losing is going to be @ Cal. The Golden Bears have the best chance to beat USC because they have enough good players to match USC. Sure USC has better recruits but trust me Cal is like th USC of northern California. Plus I'm sure the Golden Bears want some revenge from last years loss. It's going to be USC vs LSU in the National Championship mark it down. Clearly they are the two best teams in the country.Originally posted by ShahHouman View Posti think w/ "too much" talent that's one thing that's gonna mess USC up, no chemistry......and i'll be the first to say big ten's been a little overrated and especially this yr it's boring

I'm just pissed because I have open house from 1:00-5:00PM, so no MSU vs Wisconsin for me!
To add insult to injury they are televising the game on ESPN I believe at 12:30PM.

If you had seen the USC campus and the area around then it would ahve been even funnier! I read the following at foxsports.com and I am still laughing!Originally posted by ShahHouman View Postwe got buckeye pride but damn lol, dude spoke as tho God created USC on the 8th day or somethin lol
I see that the USC Trojans are the No. 1-ranked college football team in the preseason polls. Who would argue with them? You sort of have to give USC whatever they want for fear of retribution. Since the Raiders cleared out of Los Angeles faster than Mark Fuhrman left the Million Man march, the Trojans have been the resident pro football team.
I stand in awe at Pete Carroll's ability to reload, and re-field a football team. But the true target of my admiration involving all USC students has to be the USC parents. I don't understand how these parents shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars for their kids to go to school in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods around.
Have you seen the movie Boyz N the Hood? Training Day? Menace To Society? All of these "uplifting" stories about inner city life were filmed a few hundred yards from the USC library. USC is located in South Central Los Angeles. Yikes! No wonder so many scholarships go to football players. They're the only ones who can properly defend themselves if they leave campus. All the neighborhoods near campus are divided between the Crips, Bloods and Trojans.
Sorry, David Eckstein. But we're betting Little Leaguer Mitch Lomax might be able to kick your butt. (Gene J. Puskar / Associated Press)
Who goes to college? Young, impressionable teenagers with a hunger to explore their new surroundings. Yeah, have fun exploring the bars around campus at USC! Be sure to bring a can of mace and track shoes. You might be safer checking out the local watering holes in Baghdad.----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts
