i love reyes...i said several times he is 1 of the few players i REALLLY like at real...even tho i prefer barca i was happy when real won because reyes scored twice. That being said....

Reyes Better than Villa??

he is staying put in athletico 100%...just confirmed

with aguero and torres in place, addition of reyes, and with some valencia stars rumored to leave (although villa said he wants to stay, but this was before a training fight with teammate hugo viana. For the sake of the point im trying to make lets assume villa and sliva leave), a barcelona shakeup, and maybe the addition of QUARESMA the best winger in the world (thats right i said it) to the athletico squad (since the other main contender was inter, and they would only make a move if figo left, and he is staying), and other great players like maxi rodriguez and guillermo franco, expect a champions league birth for the side next year, and a VERY deep run into the uefa cup (damn i use waaay too many parenthesis)

if that happens, ronaldinho leaves barca, and villa leaves valencia, i got athletico going all the way because there is no way in hell that real would have gotten that far without him.

madrid-with beckham and reyes leaving, and if robinho leaves, they will be nowhere near as good, especially when main target so far is tevez. I dont think gago and diarra are good enough, i love higuain but he is too hot/cold. Defense is solid but i dont see enough up front for them to be successful next year without robinho.

Barca-if ronaldinho leaves they are still very good, but not nearly the same caliber. Could lose a lot of close games.

Sevilla- As much as i love alvez and kanoute i think this season was kind of a fluke. Besides, alvez is probably on his way out.

Valencia- no villa, no silva? no way. My favorite spanish team tho (wont be if villa leaves lol)

so that leaves athletico and nekounams osasuna for the automatic champions league births!

I loved Reyes 2-3 years ago, but he never used his full potential..i think he's overrated now
