I don't think you fully appreciate some those players:

Maldini: a legend. never heard anyone is the world, even Italy haters, say he sucks.

Gatusso: he is named the passion of the game by Fifa. every single coach in the world wishes to have a player like him in his team. I just love the guy. he plays clean and with so much passion.

Seedorf: he is a true champion. whatever club he played for, he won! He is the only player who has won the champions league with three different clubs: Ajax, Real and Milan

Inzaghi: the forth best scorer in UEFA champions league history. He is natual finisher, although not so favorite.

Gila: is a young tallent, still has 2 years to be fully functional.

Bonera: you will hear from this guy more later. He is the new tallent. I like him. He is very solid.
