he did on his debut, but after scoring and assisting goals, the coaches seem to put him as a defensive midfielder cause he loses the ball way too much when attacking.

Nutmeging someone unknown and jinking past Shevchenko aside, I sincerely feel Karimi couldnt adapt to the physical and grueling Bundesliga style. He isnt that strong enough yet and I feel he has been a flop because of not coping in such a technical/demanding league. He would have been better off playing for a mid-table La Liga team or hell even Portugal or Austria. I am pretty sure Hitzfield doesnt see Karimi in his future plans and he will infact be let go at the end.
