Its all about SMART transfers. All the funds Rafa has had, he has mostly wasted on mediocre and failed players when he could have smartly reinforced his squad with real goal scorers, ball winners, and whatnot. Too many to name, but I am sure Liverpool followers will exactly know who I am talking about.

That and as well as having inconsistent tactics and relying too much on Gerrard and Torres (which isnt a bad thing, but makes their absence hit hard).
