Actually if I recall, Liverpool didnt have the money to pay for Cech's transfer which his former club was demanding - yeah its too much for an unknown, but he had the characteristics of doing something special - Abramovich took over Chelsea, and easily spent the amount demanded and got Cech pronto.Originally posted by Daei_The_KingsigpicComment
