Buffalo won the league, unfortunately But they had the benefit of playing in the weaker eastern conference.

Its a shame the avalanche are out. I was looking forward to detroit vs colorado.

Also a shame Montreal got eliminated on that fluke goal by Toronto. With any luck the Islanders will win, and justice will be done.

lol, ur actually happy that an american team is in rather than a canadian team?...that's pretty sad...im firstly a leafs fan, but secondly a canada fan...either way, leafs had a decent young team, and hopefully this is cause to spend some of those zillions that are stashed away somewhere, god only knows where

I don't understand why Toronto fans continue to support a team that obviously has no intentions of ever challenging for the league or the cup. Toronto sells out every game with the second highest league ticket prices (behind Detroit) and the team never improves.

Ironically, Toronto won over ten games in a row while Sundin was injured earlier in the season. His first game back they lose. Coincidence I think not.

It's a shame Leafs didn't make it, but in reality I've always thought if any team was American, it was the leafs. They're the NY rangers of Canada. Anyways half of the Canadian teams are still in it, so thats a plus.

I really don't care if an American team wins, the players are for the most part Canadian... And if a Canadian team doesn't win this year, it only means we can show off for another year about how we're the last Canadian team to win, no? j/k And everyone knows we won plenty more than your team.
