ya sorry I meant Iverson then Shaq/James . but I agree Iverson does have the most scoring ability but he is a little bit small (6'1) although very talented so imagine if he was 6'5 or 6'6!!! wow that'd be amazing. but I was referring to an "overall" best player which in my eyes is McGrady for the following reasons: he can shoot, he can pass, he is a leader, he is consistent, he has good defense, he is a smart player, and he's a winner who performs under well under pressure, and unlike Iverson he is tall (6'8) and also fast (but not Iverson fast) what more could you ask for in a player?....he will carry Houston to a good season just watch.

Give him a break he cant do it all on his own!!! he is the most complete basketball player when he is at his best....he can easily dominate even All Star games when he gets serious and plays his "A" game.

He had vince carter on his team when he was in toronto and still couldnt win. Yao is pretty good, he should win with him alone, but he had cuttino mobley last year too. He didn't have anyone in orlando, though.

He had vince carter on his team when he was in toronto and still couldnt win. Yao is pretty good, he should win with him alone, but he had cuttino mobley last year too. He didn't have anyone in orlando, though.

yes he did have vince with him but that was an eternity ago with the Raptors before he was at his best!!! and he wasnt too great with mobley becuase they play the same position so it didnt work out too well, but he will do fine with Yao now even though they will still need more players to step up.
