Embryonic reports in Italy are pointing towards a mooted move for Italy and Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon. The rumoured deal will include some two-way traffic as Christian Abbiati may well go the opposite way…
Italy’s Il Corriere dello Sport (The Sports Courier) claims that Buffon has apparently agreed to turn down any offer from Inter, but would warm to an offer from Milanello, the info following on the heels of Moggi statements that Buffon would go to Milan.
AC Milan are keen to have a back-up for a Dida who’s annoyed the Rossoneri faithful who are clamouring for a national rather than a hiccupping import.
Figures quoted suggest that Juventus would let the player go for $30 million plus the services of Christian Abbiati on loan at Torino and not exactly over the moon at having swapped a silverware-chasing team for a relegation-dodging outfit.
Alessio Secco, the Juve sporting director, has repeated the familiar mantra ‘Buffon-is-not-for-sale- Buffon-is-not-for-sale- Buffon-is-not-for-sale’, but stopped short of crossing his heart with a definitive promise.
A cut-price alternative for the Bianconeri could well be Celtic goalie Artur Boruc. The Polish sticks man is under contract to the Bhoys until 2009 but caught the eye of many a cklub with solid CL performances this season
I hope it happens.VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI

After the world cup, Buffon vowed to stay with Juventus as he had said something about some Juve experience helping him in the WC final.
After the scandal with Juventus fixing matches, Buffon re-iterated that vow, saying that he would stick by his team no matter what....
I odnt think Buffon would want to leave, but I also hope it happens as I have disliked Juventus for ages, and never really known why....
Besides, a player of Buffon's quality shouldnt have to be mixed with the blackened name of JuventusBacking Daei since 1992, to this day.

Buffon recently said that he misses the Champions league and that he may not be able to play for a long time.
Also Milan has a great desire to get him. Dida has been giving Sooti for a long time now and it looks like he is finished (he is 34).
I really hope we get either Buffon or Boruc. We shouldn't have conceded 2 of the goals in the ManU game.VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI

Buffon is not going anywhere. Juventus will gain a high position in serie A next season and be in champions league the year after. Buffon can wait two years surely.
I know its the dream of Milan to take all the talented players from Juventus but its not happening. The REAL. The LEGEND. Since 2001.

Barzagli is going to Juve, we need a centre back like u said(heard Alex mentioned, ) we could use Zambro for sure and Zaccardo in reserve. Costacurta, Favalli, Cafu, Maldini are very old and Nesta is no spring chicken either. We also need a striker, maybe Luca Toni or Eto'o if he doesnt join Liverpool or Arsenal. Also Aumbeyang in the first team may not be bad either. Gila is ok, El Gordo is great but Pipo is good but again aging and Oliveria wellOriginally posted by Amir Ahmadiso far buffon to milan zambrotta to milan and i keep hearing this ronaldinho non sense everywhere.. just imagine if all 3 come.. we still need a centre back because i dont think bonera is a starter but i also hear abour barzagli u neva no we gotta see what happens but i know zambro and buffon are almost done deal i have family in italia and they get the info first buffon misses CL alot and wants to play next yr nt 2 ys from now

I haven't heard the Zambrotta news any where, but if it's true then our left side is sealed! yeeeeey (right for Oddo)
Bonera is a solid rock! I have been following him and he is an excellent defender with minimal mistakes. I heard that Milan is after Alex (PSV's defender I think) to have a good back up for Maldini and Costacorta.
Don't be surprised if Milan buys Toni! Pipo is aging and he has an old injury that comes back often. We can't count on him that much. Gila is a hard worker but he needs another player like Ronaldo next to him in order to be at his best. He can't play as a lone striker.
All and all, I think next season will be ours! Milan is keen to buy some excellent players and if that happens, Inter and Juve can go YoYo-bazi together!VIVA ITALIA VIVA MILAN VIVA MALDINI
