    Updates on Iranian tennis player Arvane Rezaei in US Open

    The iranian tennis player who represents France AND Iran will today open her campaign in the US open agasint Anna lenna Groenfeld from Germany

    Arvane Rezaei who is a regular visitior to Iran and says she even hold her training camps in Iran and did represent Iran in the Islamic womens games held in Tehran says she loves Iran and she sees herself as Iranian

    She is 1 of Frances upcoming and probably Women tennis upcoming stars

    Well US Open is deffinatly the way to prove urself..

    There is alot of rounds to get past for Arvane and inshalla Today she will get past her German opponent..I will keep u updated on what happens to her progress in this tournament..

    Aravane Rezaei wins her first match to get past the 1st round...

    She won the first set 6-2 lost the 2nd 6-0 and won the 3rd won 6-4 to win the match 2-1 in sets and go to the 2nd round of the Womens open

    It is still not clear who she will be facing in the 2nd round...

    Good luck Arvane...I reali hope she can become the suprise back of the Hole tournament

      Wow man, you're way ahead of me. I was just checking U.S open results that saw
      the name Arvane Rezai as a French player and here I am thinking: Could this be a
      case of missing "P"? Then I thought, well PFDC would be a good place to ask.

      I am so very excited, hopefully she'll go far.

        Well we have talked about her before..She did a great job in the French open and showed she is a good prospect...

        She is indeed Persian and if u look closely when she plays she allways wears a necklace with the iranian map on it...

        I Hope we can see her getting past the 2nd round aswell..Its to early for her to exit...

        Inshallah she will suceed

                    she was at the Legg Mason Tennis classic in DC not too long ago in a box just a few feet from my friends and i.

                    shes pretty cool and down to earth and she has spent a lot of time in northern tehran although she does have a french bf that is also a tennis player in the US Open i think

                          SHE has her training camps IN IRAAANN...

                          Ajab shoma allways fekr mikoni am lying... Well the point is she is persian and representing France in tennis is much better for her career..but she does represent iran whenever she can
