Have iranians foregone their ability to reason?
This isn't trying to persuade the army, this is criticizing them. People depend only on themselves, just watch the protests.

But also, remember, the Artesh is full of normal Iranians too. They cannot brainwash everyone. Many of us here have/had family members in the Artesh, and we know they hate the regime. A lot of them are below the poverty line.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Perhaps there is potential, and I agree with that, otherwise they wouldnt've turned the iranian state into a neoplatonic guardian state with irgc monkeys going apeshit. But my point was more than this post. There are people out there that really believe artesh will step in, other than shaming them for lacking gheyrat. I just cant see anything happen.

The army is filled mostly with regular people. Only the very high level commanders are appointed by IR. The rank and file are like everyone else, with the same problems and frustrations with this government. I am sure they will chose the side of the people when the time comes.

He had announced earlier that he has got cancer. Very likely that is why he is selling his car.

Most of the players of the Iranian football team today told the boss to support us so that we succeed in the Qatar World Cup, but Ramin Rezayian, the people's star of the team, said, "I want the people to support us to be able to make them a little happy in this turbulent situation of my country."
