just thinking ahead here, but might it be that FIFA will have lifted their ban on Russia at that time? I know IFF people are stupid, but being a nation going to the WC you surely cannot be that stupid to risk it just to play russia, who havent played a match since forever? They could have gone with Uzbekistan instead? Something tells me this match will be fine, just my 2 cents.

I'm still shocked that this happened. I know this MOFO doesn't do anything in favor of us. So I wonder whats behind this move. They are probably trying to destroy CQ publicity amongst iranian people.

Baradar do not be worried about this….Russia’s first friendly game is happening this month! We are not the guinea pigs here…..FIFA would not allow the game to go on vs Kygzstan if they were still being sanctioned.

And if for some reason it’s still fishy….CQ wouldn’t allow it to go on.

Kyrgyzstan is not participating in the World Cup. Ramifications for them is minimal. Want to send a message punish a WC team. You know the Italians, Chileans, and anyone else who feels they should be in the WC and/or Iran should not will lobby hard.
