Taj could accomplish considerably more for U23 than Majedi did, not because he is a better manager or more qualified, but rather because Taj has a team of managers to assist him in managing various national teams, whereas Majedi did not.

Nabi and Ghanbari, Taj's two freshly elected deputies, are handpicked deputies who are competent, seasoned administrators . Taj, in addition to these two, will have two more dependable managers, One for Women affiliates, and a new Secretary General, making a total of five people on his team.

In contrast, Majedi was by himself. Azizi Khadem had nominated both of his deputies, who were vehemently opposed to Majedi ( ultimately kicked out of BOD). His former manager Musavi was imprisoned, and Kamranifar was neither assigned to or loyal to Majedi. Kamranifar frequently made decisions that were detrimental to Majedi, such as canceling election night before the GA meeting. Because many GA members believed Majedi was involved in the decision-making for cancellation, Taj benefited from this choice while Majedi suffered. The management of IFF affiliates is a team effort and Majedi was forced to tackle impossibly difficult duties because he was working alone and had an incomplete, non-cooperative DOB.

Taj may assist U23 or other youth teams with the support of 4 experienced managers.
We will soon learn about his choice about the U23 team and his intention and extend of support the U23 coach.


My opinion on U23 coach Mahdavi Kia has not changed; I still believe he will fail until he decides to spend more time in Iran and personally watch U21 players. Simply put, the U21 should not be led by a Parqazi coach.

I admire Marfavi and some of the work he has done. He is a fine man with a respectable demeanor, but his coaching skills during international competition have not been put to the test.
He has a chance to persuade his critics in two weeks against the Kyrgys Republic and the UAE.


Taj made the speedily choice to replace Kamranifar with Parhizkari. He formerly served as the U23 team manager; perhaps this month, he can assist Mahdavi Kia.
Parhizkar is a wise pick for Taj for now because, unlike Kamranifar, he is only serving as acting SG for the time being and poses no threat to his Boss, not the kind to cancel elections or secretly contact the AFC , true to his Persian name "parhiz kar " ab·sti·nence.

Mahdavi Kia had previously committed to play at TM on September 17, but yesterday he informed Estili that this couldn't happen because he doesn't have a contract with IFF.
There won't be any September U23 training even during FIFA days when players are available until IFF extends Mahdavi Kia's contract.

Notes:
Mahdavi Kia's assertion that he has no contract is doubtful because he is under contract till the end of September.
He is not in Iran and has not provided a strategy for the U23 team's FIFA Day training camp.
After Azizi Khadem was dismissed and Majedi was appointed, he still cites the same justifications. Majedi extended his contract in a week, without it, he would not travel to Iran.

The U23 team deserves a more committed and capable coach than Parvazi coach Mahdavi Kia.

TM U23 coach was the subject of a statement from Nabi, Taj's first assistant today.


"We will decide whether to extend the contracts of the current coaches or hire new ones in the next two weeks", he said.


It is highly doubtful that they will play against TM on September 12 given the uncertainty surrounding the U23 coach for the next two weeks.

According to a report, Saket, Sepahan president and new IFF board member, is pushing for Moharram Navid kia (has support of Taj) to replace Mahdavi Kia as U23 coach.
There has been no decision, and the IFF technical board is practically non-existent.
If they decide, Majedi, as the head of the youth committee, must approve it.

Qatar Hosts 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, AFC Removes Covid-19 Prokes

. Qatar officially selected as host Asian Cup U-23 2024 . Interestingly, starting in 2023, the AFC has officially abolished the health protocol because the Covid-19 pandemic is considered to have subsided.Qatar became one of the countries that volunteered to host the U-23 Asian Cup 2024. In addition to Qatar, other countries that volunteered were Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iran.

The name of Mojtaba Hosseini Paykan coach has been added to the list of candidates for the position of U23 head coach.

The U21 team, led by Samad Marfawi, will thus attend TM camp during next TM training, as per Queiroz's request and in coordination with the youth committee ( Majedi ), claims Nabi.

Marfavi is the U20 coach, and as of right now, IFF has not named a new U21 coach. It is unclear if Marfavi will involve U21 players in this unique training session with CQ.

Given the amount of time they have already wasted, IFF needs to name a new U23 coach.
