Things may have changed but memories don't fade in 2 years. He was hard done by Taj.Originally posted by sam20 View PostThis was from 2 years ago, so I wonder if anything has changed considering current circumstance and the chance CQ would have to coach in the world cup again with a squad like ours that he knows so well.
Taj up to his same old ways. Watch...he wins and first thing he says is sorry no money for CQ. Whoever forced me to pay Wilmots should be held responsible.Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostKhatir is a disgusting piece of s*it. I didn’t like taj already and this makes me really dislike him.

It doesn't matter what CQ and Taj went through three years ago. Bringing up that article now has zero relevance. Why would CQ keep posting about Iran on his socials if he didn't want to come back? I thought the academics on this forum were capable of some logical reasoning skills?
CQ wants to be on Iran's bench at the WC before he retires. He has one last run in him
It doesn't mean he has to be blood brothers with Taj to get that done. Business is business

Good for him and all power to him
He and Jahanbaksh are the team captains time and time again. Amiri is not captain

My point however, is that even if he still hates Taj, the circumstances may still persuade him to come: possibly his last chance to coach at the world cup and achieve something big with Iran.Originally posted by O-ZoNe View PostThings may have changed but memories don't fade in 2 years. What's appealing about the Iran job? An organized FA? Legionnaires tearing Europe up? A strong domestic league? Modern stadiums?Originally posted by sam20 View PostMy point however, is that even if he still hates Taj, the circumstances may still persuade him to come: possibly his last chance to coach at the world cup and achieve something big with Iran.
Even if we say he knows the players...most of the ones he relied upon have aged, are injured, or are warming the bench for most part in Europe. Yes seems like a dream job for an established coach who really values his reputation and track record...(see his comments on EFA trying to ruin his rep).
