You make a good point, I agree - it's not reasonable to have high expectations. But atleast with CQ there's a chance to salvage something from this dumpster fire.

With Skocic at the helm, I shudder in agony at the thought of what will happen results wise and team chemistry wise. The writing is written on the wall with him. With CQ, atleast we know the team will have some discipline and a shot in the dark at something.

There's a glimmer of hope with the guy who gave us our best WC performance ever. Don't take that away from us 😂

No coach, not even CQ has enough time to implement their system in 3 months and at most two friendlies (even if they have prior experience with this team from 3 years ago).

So at this point, I'm just drawing sick pleasure from trolling CQ fans... Not because I'm pro laboo salesman or anything like that, but because CQ fans are so easy to trigger, and we sure as shit won't be getting any pleasure from TM at the world cup this time around.

What I've heard is Taj will only step aside if they remove the case against him for what's happened with Wilmots as well as Foolad Mobarakeh.
He also wants to hang onto his positions at AFC.

If Taj steps aside, there is a chance the votes behind him will shift to Aziz Mohammadi which would be a disaster.

As it stands, if Taj makes it to the elections, he will win easily.

This might end up being like the year Kaffashian won, when the favorites all withdrew
