Disagree respectfully. He is being groomed as Porto and Portugal number one keeper simply because they have no one better. He cost Porto big in champions league last year.

Difference is Portuguese supported him instead of destroy him.

fantastic great counter, sporting whooped today. poor goalkeeping to take him down when he was going away from the goal, but its difficult when the player is so fast. he probably thought he would be first on the ball and then its to late to change that decision to attack the ball once its made.

Really hoping this doesn't end up being a bad injury, if it does then Porto coaching and medical staff deserve as much as blame as Sporting's keeper

Anyone with half of brain would take Medi out after that clash. Even if Mehdi himself asked to stayed on, he should have been subbed out to minimize the risk...

he was literally asking to be subbed out .... but koskhol SC waited for like another 10-15min to see what Sporting subs come in first ..!!

think Mehids injury was from the contact with the goalie when assisting the first goal, he grabbed the leg at exactly the same place as later on.
it can actualy be an injury and he shouldnt have been left those extra 5-10 minutes on the field after going down signaling for a substitution.

very poor coaching, i guess he will be missing the coming 2 weeks atleast. hopefully he isnt rushed in to playing

true ... he is promising young keeper but with a sort of club and country immense support that he is being afforded it wouldnt be too much of surprise to see him flourish into a stand out keeper to garner a big club move in a short few year.....!! if he was some irooni youngster he wouldnt even see cup action at Porto ... much less unseating and keeping a veteran solid keeper like Marchesine on the bench all last season...!!
