Mendes is an intermediary or his agent?

Come on, Milan isn't the best option, do the right choice!

    Comment

Milan is pretty much a sideway step. Only slightly better than Porto.

Hopefully, he can get a long contract. In Seria A he would be able to perform till his mid 30's.

Meanwhile, Inter are also evaluating the 30-year-old as an alternative to Romelu Lukaku. Agent Jorge Mendes is looking after the interests of Taremi and he could be a key player, having spoken with Milan in the Rafael Leao renewal talks.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

The more teams interested, the better for Mehdi.

He'll have more options, more valuation, and hopefully a sweeter deal at the end with whichever team signs him!

          LET'S GO!

yap. The man pounces when he sees dollar signs. Truly a sleazy agent but at least he’s repping one of ours for once!

Negotiations seem to be progressing. If true, a 4 year contract, nice.

I think AC Milan is the best for him but I would love him to be at Manchester United - imagine him getting service from Bruno!

If he does big things for them, he will be a legend throughout history and everyone will know it.

Most exciting Iranian football transfer since Karimi to Bayern, IF it happens.

The only thing leaving a bad taste (for me) is Milan's laj-bazi. They are really trying to buy him on the cheap from Porto.

My god, I will buy 3 Taremi jerseys STAT if/when he moves to Milan/Inter/MU.

The Persian internet mafia will break their online store website!

Haha true. Porto seems to be a laj baz too. But he only has 1 year left on his contract so makes sense to get something (anything) for him now.

As you said, this may prompt other teams to try to jump in and intensify their efforts (Inter) since Milan seems to be closing in.

                          Taremi–Milan affair

▪️ The first offer of the Italians is close to 13M € . It was rejected.

                          ▪️ Porto asks for 25M € .

▪️ There will be other contacts between the clubs to get closer: nothing imminent.

▪️ Milan does not want to pay more than 20M € . The striker has already said yes.

▪️ Mehdi Taremi would prevent the arrival of Samuel Chukwueze due to a non-EU passport issue.

^ Interesting as I had heard Porto was okay with $20M and if Milan is okay to not pay MORE than $20M, then it seems they are the same price?!

                            Let's make it happen!

                            Where are the Montblancs?

If the report that Pioli is guaranteeing Mehdi a starting spot then this is a significantly better move than any other link he has had. Mendes job needs to be to get this done in a timely fashion and get Milan to quit with their nickel and diming.

I wish he was going to the EPL or Inter/Bayern but AC Milan is certainly still a step up.

He's going from the 7th place league in the world to 4th best place league. Good jump in quality of competition. Also, he'll certainly be a key player for them as long as he stays healthy.

This is a team that can fight for the title next season. Would be a good move if he isn't getting concrete offers from EPL.
