    Chelsea (ENG)*
    Club Brugge (BEL)
    Dortmund (GER)
    Frankfurt (GER)
    Inter (ITA)
    Liverpool (ENG)
    Man City (ENG)*
    Napoli (ITA)*
    Paris Saint-Germain (FRA)
    Porto (POR)*
    Real Madrid (ESP)
    Tottenham (ENG)*

Teams in BOLD are confirmed group winners, and can not face each other in R16 (two pots of winners and runner ups will be used to match up R16 teams). Thus, by topping the group, Porto avoids Bayer, Chelsea, Man City, Napoli, and Tottenham. They also can not face Brugge (in same group first round) and Benefica (same league).

Still some pretty tough teams in either pot, should make for an exciting R16. Let's go Porto!
FC Porto can basically face Liverpool, Inter Milan, Ac Milan, BVB Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and PSG (if they don‘t win against Juventus away tonight). Best draw in my opinion would be against AC Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt or another German Team

Please, anyone who believes we should stop caring about our national team / world cup due to unrelated matters: why don't you just stop posting on this forum???

Why are you even here to read/post while criticizing others for being excited about world cup?

Why do you expect players to just act like they're dead on the inside, not show any happiness for their careers and continue risking their families lives by constantly protesting, when they're normal people like us who deserve to continue their careers JUST LIKE YOU DO.

Meanwhile all of you are sitting half way across the world, DOING LITTLE TO NOTHING.

If you have this confused state of mind and believe we shouldn't care about football, please do yourself & us a favour by either not posting at all, or stick to the topic: football.

Well, 5 goals 2 assists in the groupstage, big clubs cant ignore him now in the next transferwindow.

Hope for similar stats in WC groupstage.

He could just slaughter it and score 1 vs england 2 vs canada and 3 vs usa 😁

Benfica top their group ahead of PSG.

Good news is that this is good for Portugal's league coefficient. Bad news is PSG is now a team that Porto can draw in the knockout round.

Todays result was big from Porto and Taremi personal perspective against an old adversary that has bothered them in CL in recent years.

Also, in the context of other portuguese results underlines continuously improving strength of the league, in contrast to what some people were saying after the first game or two of this CL campaign.

Porto and Benfica both advanced, Sporting only failed to advance on final night and went through to EL, still a solid achievement.

Considering Porto are currently 3rd in league and Sporting are 6th, that shows league itself is quite competitive as well.

Portuguese clubs have mastered some realities of modern football, they play quite a physical, high intensity style, are really efficient in transition moments, and off the field recognize the time to sell talents, even if to some fans and onlookers they may do so "too early". The decisions are typically vindicated. Benfica got so much money for felix and others and got to build a totally new squad from it that finally when paired with good coach is showing itself well. Sporting did similar with sales in recent times, got almost 40 million from selling their young LB to PSG alone. Porto are turning over 4 key players a year and not making any big investments to replace them, yet somehow the performances are not dropping.

Conceicao lost Vitinha, Vieira, Diaz, Mbemba in last 6 months. All are starters/contributing players to top sides in top 5 leagues now. Their main signing in the summer David Carmo has not been involved much due ton injury, nor has the second biggest signing Veron from Brazil. Instead Cardoso, a signing from Santa Clara (mohebbi's team) who was mainly on bench last season has developed into Mbemba's replacement, Estuquaio from Pacos Ferreira took over for Vitinha, Galeno ended up replacing Diaz after SC working on his development since January, and they found internal solutions for other positions in their team. Pepe at right back was brilliant tonight, looks totally different than the player he was at the start of last season. Zaidu at left back became a really solid player this season too.

OFC, the continued presence of taremi has a lot to do with making this transition possible, thats why I think Porto were so desperate to hold on to him. Having said that I think it is fairly likely he moves in January or Sumer at the latest.
The issue is not top 3+1(Braga).
The problem is the gap between these teams and the rest are generally huge.
The rest in league are more or less like 2nd rated clubs/leagues in europe.
In last 20 years, Only 4 times any other team other than big 3 finished in top 3(twice Braga).

Deplatforming our players will achieve nothing. Absolutely nothing. IR cares nothing for their legitimacy. So what's the point of this?

Giving our players a platform, will bring light to the situation and help propel/accelerate the street protests in Iran against the regime.

I don't know why it's so hard for so many people to see this.
