it's hard to argue anyone in both teams performed overall better than Ali...!!
but putting in perspective, im still not convinced with the overall quality of Eredivisie... !! I'd bet a team like Porto would likely dominate and tear a new one into any team in this league..!?

He had a goal, 2nd highest expected assist, 2nd highest progressive passes, 4 successful dribbles, and defended really well.

Of course there was room for a bit of improvement, but he was better than 'pretty okay'. He was good today.

Unfortunately for TM ARJ found form after our most important period. Still from his personal development pov its great to see, but cannot undo the fact that he was really bad for us in the buildup to the WC and at the games themselves.

He looks transformed compared to then.

To be fair, he had a great stretch for TM in the WCQ. Scored 4 important goals. Frankly, JB's most productive TM tenure was under Skocic.
