Training camp begins on 26 or 27. August 3rd marks the end of training camp.

Iran vs. Morocco, August 10
Iran vs. Saudi Arabia on August 12

From the group stage, two teams will advance.

On July 25 or 26, a new U21 list will be made public.If all players are under the age of 21, the list may undergo some adjustments.

Gholamreza Jabbari ( Head of IFF youth committee) today explained plans of Iran's U23 football team to attend the ISG:

The The matches will be held in Konya from 9 to 18 August, but we will send the team to Turkiye on August 3, because there are plans ( ceremonies ) that need players to be there sooner. In addition, preparation camps will be held at the National Football Centre from August 1st to August 10th.

He said U23 training camp coincided with the preparation camps of club teams, We negotiate with clubs and coaches and tell them that their players will definitely not be worse in U23 camp than club camps, if not better. He expressed hope clubs will understand and cooperate.


It seems IFF Jabbari is in charge of talks with clubs for release of their players.Hopefully clubs will help Mahdavi Kia and U23 team.

Perhaps best time to resolve conflict with U19 team now. Two CB players Kor and Hazbavi are ob both list of U19 and U23 for August game.

I think best is both attend U23 for Konya game but for AFC U20 games attend U20.

Recent AFCU23 Asian Cup champions Saudi Arabia are drawn alongside Iran in the Islamic Solidarity Games group stage this coming August in Konya, Turkey. Interested in what type of squad they'll take out there, and how much Workd Cup preparation will be on their mind.

New list expected to be published 2-3 days prior to next training camp on July 23.

The AFC U23 2024 will act as qualification games for summer Olympic top 3 teams will qualify to Olympic.
