A few observations:

1- The left side of Wales is soorakh big time. Ukraine just waltzed in a few times and came close to scoring.

2- Bale has passed his expiration date, so has Ramsey. Couple of great players at their prime. Hope they stay on the Welsh team for the game against Iran.

3- The #9 Welsh player came on late, but seemed very dangerous, good skills, fast, and smart. Was one of the bright spots for Wales.

4- An aged Hennessey is better than a new one. Nevertheless, I think Azmoon will put to him to the test (get the pun?)

They are gonna give it to Ukraine It is obvious. Ukraine has to be in the WC because of the Russian invasion. Possibly some sort of compensation to both Scotland and Wales has already been made. I would place a bet on this. It would probably restore a micro-mil trust in FIFA for me if Wales qualifies and not Ukraine.

we probably coulda had a weaker pot 4 side than the welsh but as a whole Team they just dont look a very talent laden side and very much a beatable side, especially at gutter where i fathom most all European teams will struggle to play to their full potential....!
Today they had everything going for themselves from the extra rest, the much favorable/familiar with rainyass playing condition, the boisterous home crowd, the ref giving them most all 50/50 calls, and all they could muster was a lucky OG to squeeze out a lucky narrow win..!

the only thing sorely missing for us at this WC is King Carlos.... !! . i really feel like the very Well Organized, LowBlock, Defensive and counter attacking system of CQ woulda really suited to successful outings against all 3 sides in our group... especially so vs USA and Welsh... even the vastly overrated Brits..!!

it's a real shame that the goozoos running IFF are doing everything possible to ensure our eventual WC group demise and almost seems to be out to ensure we wouldnt play to our full potential and the way our WC Prep going so far, it seems much likely come back with max 1 point from this very winnable group..!!? :/

I dunno man, this isn't a topic i particularly care for arguing about. Just that these states consider themselves separate countries and are treated as such within the greater umbrella UK nation.

I don't really care much about this, I don't think it will change either because the national pride for Rugby, Football and other sports is so big in each of the nations.
