Also, have pre season cups arranged. You know those 4 team kind of tourneys. Let Iran be hosts and start mobilizing sponsors. Let it be annual cup.

For example we can have zam zam cola cup Peykan pro tournament. Iran Khodro, Pasargad bank or whatever.

If really ambitious they can take those influencing footballers om mini tours and that would be excellent promotion for tourism. Let teams visit Persepolis, visit hafez Grave etc and flood social media. Im sure they could ask for allocation from tourist ministry.
    .
These preparations are so easily fixed it makes me wanna cry out of frustration.

    Constructive proposal:
Play against well drilled clubs. Whats the difference when one thinks of it.

Its pre season and there are tons of clubs that would love facing Iran.

Just employ two young adults proficient in English and order them to start doing cold calls. Let Them work lists for a couple weeks eight hour a Day.

Random telephone underwear salesman would easily be able to land 20 high quality prospects.

Next steep is to force those risho hobos to clean Up, shave, wear a suit that doesnt date to pre revolution days in some depressing beige colour. After that they can bring some baklava and chai and start to negotiate.

    How hard can it be?!

I wouldn't base it off the rankings, as Ecuador might actually be just as strong as us (or stronger), considering they only finished behind, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay in south america - would we have done any better?.....VERY LIKELY NOT

It's perhaps more about who is inviting who - If iran knocks on Ecuador's door requesting a friendly, they'll also have some money prepped to persuade them into it or Ecuador will say "ok, only if you pay us this much" & vice versa in opposite scenario

TBH I'm not an expert in this area but that logic would make sense to me.

The financial repercussions alone for all the fans, ticket refunds, Canada Soccer, BC Place, and the City of Vancouver are enormous. It's bewildering that a handful of vocal numb-skulls caused this much havoc.
