In agreement witb you.....When the most famous Iranians in the world are Ahmadinejad and Khamenei, what should we expect?

But also note, the campaign against this soccer game is chiefly led by Iranian diaspora. We are so divided that a huge number rush to sell out the event while others work hard to cancel it.

US , European Union and their allies constitute about a billion while China, India, Russia, Brazil, Pakistan, Indonesia... constitute over 4 billions and they are not against Iran.
personally would trade in the good will gestures and Positive Opinions of that 1 billion for the other 4 billion, in a heartbeat..!! for the simple reason that the opinion of the vast majority of world folks dont hold as much water and thus by enlarge irrelevant to the opinions of the 1billion of the mostly ruling elites of the world...!

regardless, so the saying goes, opinions are like assholes and everyone's got one.....!

Alphonso Davies is definitely not a forward. I think we match up similarly.

Strong attack, questionable midfield, and ok defence for both teams. Keepers might be the difference maker...

He often plays as winger for Canada.

It would've been smarter to just have set-up camp in Turkey. Otherwise what is the point in coming back to Iran then flying back to Europe (Germany).

This is what we mean by the incompetence and the disorganization within IFF.
IFF should have anticipated the inherent difficulties of obtaining visas and traveling to a country with which Iran has no diplomatic relations - after all, TM faced a similar situation back in 2015 when they had to travel to Guam (an American territory) for a World Cup Qualifier, and back then, Queiroz was livid about it:

While the situations aren't entirely analagous (the game vs Canada is a friendly, while the match against Guam was an official WCQ), it's not exactly new, either.

                    Canada game cancelled.
Book whoever the heck we can, stay in Tehran or Qatar, and train.

f*** the political types - can't let ordinary people enjoy sports in or out of Iran.
And they wonder why people are so lethargic when it comes to this stuff.

These MOFU intentionally waited this long so make it impossible for Iran to arrange different games.

Masih ADHD-nejad types with a oghdeh bigger than a shotor always pull these kind of stunts.

Problem with ADHD nejad types is that they have narcissistic personality types. They truly believe theyre suffering is more important than other iranians.

IFF should never try to arrange a friendly match with a Western country anymore. Let the Canadians show their Canadian, Western values by playing against the likes of Israel and Saudi Arabia now. Khak too sareshoon.

With this Akhond regime, we will never achieve anything in football. If we accept this fact, we'll deal much better with disappoinments.
