          They are playing great.
          Nice job Samad.

Moamelegari as LB is super technical and involved offensively. Great set piece taker, had a great cross for hazbavi goal. Hazbavi looks like a really solid CB talent and definitely more developed than his teammates. Eslamtalab of Kia is very technical, fast winger with good physicality, scored a nice goal and not afraid to take guys on.

            4-0 shahim converts PK.

nice run by ghorbani to draw the foul.

u19 has been in control all of second half, could have easily scored couple more, hit the bar on one occasion.

They played methodically and with a plan. They knew Tajikistan was going to go on attack from minute one and they defended fiercely relying on counters for the most part (two of the three goals in the first half were direct result of counters). Great plan and great execution. They probably studied the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan match very well and got the exact same result. Kudos to our Afghan brothers for holding Uzbekistan to a 1-1 draw (I don't appreciate their grass rolling yet they worked hard and their goal was beautiful).

                  Go U19 TM!

You can watch the award ceremony here (starting shortly):

Ahmad Jalali (C) of the 2019 team and Hazvavi U19 (C) are both from Foulad; Jalali left Nekonam this season and moved to Aluminu in order to have a chance to play. Young players won't get many opportunities from Nekonam, and we'll learn just how long Hazbavi will endure.

Hazbavi wins player of the tournament. Moving forward him and Kor will make very solid CB duo for this age group.

No, Iran's U19 team played poorly for about 60 minutes, with players consistently making costly mistakes .The first half's U19 game plan was ineffective, and players who insisted on doing individual work made team's offensive ineffective.

Since they were behind and needed to win, the coach should have switched to 4-1-3-2 at the start of the second half. Change arrived late, and some individuals wasted their limited opportunities they had .
Teams should have an attacking game plan for these types of tournaments from the get-go; a defensive game plan is not the best course of action when winning is essential.
St Mark jan, what about this time? In regards to the last game, we were calm and continued to build up well even when down by a goal and with a few minutes left in the game. That usually is a sign of a confident team and good coaching.

I’m showing my age but I don’t like the fluffy top hairstyle so many players have now.

I believe Marfavi's calculations and approach were impacted by Uzbekistan's draw with Afghanistan. Marfavi was aware that the Iran U19 team needed a minimum victory and they are more skilled and powerful than Tajikistan U19. Iran's plan benefited with a quick score in minute 10.
I believe the ideal game plan for teams under 19 is an offensive one, and players that age should have that kind of mentality.

Because Iran withdrew from the Konya game, Hazbavi was available. He was a late addition to the list.
Kor will be sidelined for a while due to a minor injury.
Both should be able to make it to the AFc U19 qualifier inSeptember.
Since Rostami and Doostali are avoiding traveling to Iran due to military requirements, I'm not sure if they can join the squad.
For U23 competitions, Rostami only joined U23 in Iraq then in Uzbekistan . IF Koushki is taken into consideration, the scenario remains the same.

is koushki actually feyenoord player now or just trialling?

Koushki, Doustali, Rostami, Sarafyar + other German based guys, midfielder in Leganes are suddenly not bad pool of youth players in europe across multiple age groups. Hopefully at least a couple can transition to senior level
