Its funny that I opened a Thread 1 Year ago and I warned you guys about skocic. But same people who are stupidly asking for his removal at this time started making fun of the thread.
I did warn you guys that if we stick to skocic (1 year ago), then we have to stick with him for WC because it would be very very very stupid to change him just before WC. Here is the thread. I suggest you guys visit and read what I've written.

Again I think skocic has tactics, but he simply can't play without kanani and shoja. If one player is missing then the whole DF line will be a mess. Thats his biggest weakness, but I can guarantee you this that if all players are available (shoja , kanani , amiri , taremi and azmoun) , with 2-3 friendlies , we will get the results we need.

Agha Milad, why is it his weakness? Isn't it TM weakness? Not having good enough defenders to replace ones not available? We have problems with our league clubs and their coaches with bigger egos than top gun world class coaches with a fraction of knowledge and ability so little that they can't turn talents into world class players. No wonder it is a dream of every player of ours to go to Europe even the low ranked ones to learn and improve their skills and progress as pro footballers.

I remember Moharam used Mohebi as Left back in ACL i think and it worked perfectly I wonder if we can try that again. I have a feeling it will work.

Again I think noorafkan played okay as a left back assisting one goal however his sooti in 2nd half was caused by lack of communication between CD and LB. Noorafkan actually got a decent rating from multiple websites.

I m sure he knows that. I am sure he is exploring his options/ testing players in friendlies to find who can do what. Aren't Ezza and Omid midfield players? Maybe he will use them as defenders but only if he has good enough fit players for the midfield come November. We don't really know much, and only speculating. It should only be that really speculations. But some people seem to have gone to war with the intention of sacking the head coach at such crucial time. One wonders if they are just khaleh kherseh or deliberately trying to sabotage any chance we may have at the WC. Just like those who campaigned to cancel the friendly with Canada.

seriously. How can anybody watch this guy for sepahan and now multiple times for TM and still think he can cut it on the international stage. His body positioning when he is 1v1 is completely! wrong. If he hasnt learned these things by now, there is no hope he picks them up in next few months

He's had way too many poor performances for TM as CB and LB. He doesn't have the speed, strength. Yes he makes ok passes, but we need him to defend. He's Skocic's worst decision every game.

I know all coaches love utility players (hence why we still have a poor player like Hajisafi), but Noorafkan is an evne worse version of Hajisafi.

Obviously our best utility man is Amiri.

I really hope you're right on this about Skocic. Aghassi in 15 minutes showed more ability as CB than Noorafkan ever has.

Well a coach can only decide that. We had same issues with Cq and Shojaie as an example.

Let me remind you in Feb you posted this in the Nourafkan thread...

He's the ultimate utility player: can play LB, central midfielder, and now CB.

So obviously he has some potential and maybe Skocic believes he can unlock it...who knows. Coaches decide the lineup and when they have had enough or are satisfied.
