Gol gofti mesle hamishe baradar….fully agree with your points. I know this is all a dream and we can’t do any better and with that said, I am at the point where at least somehow we get a benefit out of having an Iranian coach lead us at the WC. And I’m someone who is not usually a fan of that as I don’t like our coaches at all but at least if a young coach like hashemian gets the experience of leading Iran at the WC, plus has all his German footballing education and established reputation in Germany…..at least we can say we got something out of that as hashemian would have a resume strong enough to take charge of a European club and potentially bring some fresh irooni talent. If Skocic goes to the WC and leads us and we crash out in the group stage we have absolutely nothing besides a wasted generation and helping a low level Croatian coach land gigs in the Persian gulf for the rest of his career.Team Meli Iran

This is appearing on a lot of Iranian websites and social media accounts - spreading like wildfire
According to rumors, the game against Lebanon is Skocic's last game on the national team bench, and Leonardo Jardim is his main replacement.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

I just hope the donkeys in IFF understand that if they hire someone like him, the first minute he doesn't get payment he will sue our ass in CAS and not do anything to help TM.Originally posted by taremiscores View PostAll we can say is inshAllah and "ageh khoda bekhaad" - let's just hope it's true.

Has been interested in Iranian football for a while
Has a really close relationship to his players
Plays one of the most innovative (but also very nice to watch) brands of football I've seen which I think can unlock the talents of TM - whilst also having the classic Portuguese defensive stength
Brought Taremi to Portugal, and appraised him in a way few other coaches have (CQ and Daei aside) - I just loved his interviews about Taremi
Friends with Carlos Queiroz and, links throughout Liga do Portugal
Someone tell IFF...

I love your consistency on this topic. IR and CAS are Iran's biggest enemies.Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostI just hope the donkeys in IFF understand that if they hire someone like him, the first minute he doesn't get payment he will sue our ass in CAS and not do anything to help TM.

With Mehdi Taremi, many Portuguese do. Read Ghermez Agha's post on Taremi's thread about the amazing experience with Porto fans in a Portuguese restaurant in New Jersey. Of course, you still have a point that Carvalhal started following Iran football before Taremi started to shine in Portugal.Originally posted by DR Strangemoosh View PostAs I said, the main reason I am dreaming is because he has said that he follows Iranian football... I mean who does that

I wouldn’t be surprised if Carvahal did, he comes across as a very knowledgable and educated guy. As a coach he would be looking for players and a lot of people the clubs he has managed haven’t had massive budgets. Also with CQ being Iran manager before and our performance against them in the World Cup would have brought us into the eye of the Portuguese public and people in football there.Originally posted by Futbaldoost View PostWith Mehdi Taremi, many Portuguese do.
