The archive is going to be beautiful. Finally a chance to watch older TM games in half decent quality reliably.
Does it say when it's officially launching?

Assuming World Cup rights will still be with local tv stations in each country.

I wonder what leagues' matches will they stream. Did they mention?
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

        Probably mostly African leagues.
FIFA basically forced CAF to give up their TV rights... it's why most of their qualifiers were free on youtube.

You can download the app now - some of the content is already uploaded and some of the archive too. (I am UK based so that is what is what I saw today).

It’s dependent on the TV rights of the country that you are accessing it from. I haven’t seen any other mention of specific leagues. They are staying that by the end of the year all the World Cup games from previous years should be on there (guessing it means those that were filmed).

2 of these fall outside of fifa days. They have 2 nations league matches too. Does most of their team consist of domestic or foreign based players ? I guess it’s the advantage of basing your team in America.

Saudi even had a large rave not too long ago.

While the world is moving forward and allowing people to make their own choices, IR is keeping Iran even more back. As someone mentioned, back in the day, they allowed us to even compete in alcohol-named tournaments but now that is out of the question.
Things are getting worse in Iran, not better!
And who is "the whole world" according to you? The 10% of westerners in Europe and US?

And you think that the REAL vast majority of people in the world, including China, India, Russia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, Sri Lanka and most non western countries (which represent 90% of population in the world) want to see rainbow flags in the stadiums?

People fighting like animals and falling on the ground because they're "drunk"? This is what you call "things are getting better"? So you really lick the feet of westerners and believe their values are superior to all others isn't it?

You play the fierce dog barking in front of Arabs because they call "Persian gulf" Arabian Gulf, you permanently bash your own country but the only ones you worship and never criticise are your Holy God of westerners ? Seriously? That's what we call a colonised mentality ...

Funny enough, it's these same westerners you worship who recieve the Arab money and get corrupted to call Persian gulf Arabian gulf, but of course, you always forget to mention that. It's always the fault of Iranian government and Arabs, westerners are the incarnation of the good

First of all, you are wrong, Qatar announced that rainbow flags will be confiscated at the entrance of the stadiums. Read the interview of Maj. Gen. Abdulaziz Abdullah Ansari, published few days ago. (**1)

As for alcohol, it will "eventually" be allowed in specific separated places for fans (**2) but definitely, their society won't accept to see idiotic fans drinking like horses, vomiting and pissing everywhere in the streets. And if you call that with rainbow flags "better", we definitely have a different worldview of what better is and what "moving forward" means.

By the way and to finish this debate, Mehdi Taremi that you seem to cherish is a pious Muslim, not drinking and fasting even on match days. Go and talk to him about your vision of "the better" and see what his answer will be.

(**2) according to Qatari laws, alcohol can only be served in "private areas" like hotels. I guess they will create "spaces" they will call "private" for fans to have access to alcohol but will strictly regulate that. They are also having what they call "sin tax", which makes alcohol extremely expensive. A beer will cost around 13 USD according to a sponsor.

Taremi can have whatever values he wants. Criticizing IR is not an attack against Islam. The guy is pious sure. Not implicating anything He's also a good dude, supportive of ALL fans of Team Melli and not looking to stir things up. He's the last guy to support beating maiming, killing someone to force his opinion on them.

Torabi on the other hand...well I hope you get the point.

If we keep this discussion to the football aspect as evil as the Wests governments are to Iranians, I expect very clean games versus playoff team and the US. Whoever is better will go through out of us three teams. England...will be favored vs Iran because of FIFA money. But note how whenever Iran plays an Arab team that the Arabs are always up to some nefarious plan.Tells you a lot also

Their last squad for the last round of qualifiers had 8 players who play in Europe and the rest were based in Mexico apart from one who played for LA Galaxy.
