          Aria has already played against Dynamo Kyiv (2nd best team in Ukraine/CL qualifiers) and Sochi (3rd in RPL) in a week - which is better than any teams he has ever played against.

          Tell me how this is a fail move? Not a small feat for a guy who was warming the bench of Fajr Sepasi.

            The only people thinking that this is a fail move are the ones thinking that PGPL is competitive, which is absolute delusional. Great that Aria took the chance instead of playing in a league, where a bunch of 35 year olds play 0-0 or 1-1

                You can tell just by the training pics, that he is in a much better professional environment and is acclimatizing himself with it.

                    Aria is 6'2' btw. If he pans out, he could be a real asset for Iranian football in the future.

                      Unfortunately, Iran U23 will miss him in 2 critical must win games versus Qatar and Turkmenistan on June 1 & June 4.

                      He made a dangerous foul on Vahdat Hananov during last qualification game and received a Red Card.

                      He cannot play 2 games.

                      Iran protested the verdict, but verdict remain (as far as i Know).

                            Why do you guys always mention height and subtly attribute it to a good player on the pitch? In footy height matters way too little in every position except CB and GK

                              Seems like they are negotiating. Aria wants a one year contract they want a 3-year contract. Negotiations ongoing.
