For the final half an hour, Ricardo Alves and Joao Paulo appeared in Kairat, but Aria Barzegar looked sharper in the Yellow-Blacks. The Iranian striker made a good shot from an average distance, and in the last minute of normal time he almost equalized the score with a header – the ball flew close to the nearest, right-handed post from Adamov!

He played well against a good club, Sochi, who finished 3rd last year in the RPL behind Zenit and Dynamo Moscow.Originally posted by Leicester City View Post"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. Aria has already played against Dynamo Kyiv (2nd best team in Ukraine/CL qualifiers) and Sochi (3rd in RPL) in a week - which is better than any teams he has ever played against.
Tell me how this is a fail move? Not a small feat for a guy who was warming the bench of Fajr Sepasi."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. The only people thinking that this is a fail move are the ones thinking that PGPL is competitive, which is absolute delusional. Great that Aria took the chance instead of playing in a league, where a bunch of 35 year olds play 0-0 or 1-1Originally posted by taremiscores View PostAria has already played against Dynamo Kyiv and Sochi in a week - which is better than any teams he has ever played against.

You can tell just by the training pics, that he is in a much better professional environment and is acclimatizing himself with it."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. Aria is 6'2' btw. If he pans out, he could be a real asset for Iranian football in the future.

Unfortunately, Iran U23 will miss him in 2 critical must win games versus Qatar and Turkmenistan on June 1 & June 4.Originally posted by taremiscores View PostStylin' and profilin'

He made a dangerous foul on Vahdat Hananov during last qualification game and received a Red Card.
He cannot play 2 games.
Iran protested the verdict, but verdict remain (as far as i Know).

Apparently, he will not be transfer to Kairat due to failed transfer of another player.

Why do you guys always mention height and subtly attribute it to a good player on the pitch? In footy height matters way too little in every position except CB and GKOriginally posted by taremiscores View PostStylin' and profilin'

Seems like they are negotiating. Aria wants a one year contract they want a 3-year contract. Negotiations ongoing.
