Guys I don’t think St. Mark is saying anything too bad. He’s providing the argument the IFF is making.
It’s good to see both sides.

It’s very clear now that taj was not going to be elected. Too much stuff against him legally.

Taj's candidacy was in complete disregard of the IFF statute and Iranian judicial orders.
Despite the fact that he has several breaches, these two stand out:

      1. The 2020 IFF statute disqualifies any candidate who has previously held the office of president three times.
Taj served in office three times before giving the excuse of a hearth issue.
"Taj's first threeterms should not be considered'', according to the lower committee, and the calendar should be reset for 2020.
The issue was that, if the calendar were reset, he would not have the five years of experience necessary.
Three number of applicants reported infractions, which were then disregarded.

      2. According to FIFA rules and the Iranian judicial system, candidates who have been convicted of a crime or who are the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation cannot be permitted to run for president of the IFF.
Taj has open criminal cases, which the IFF and lower commitee were informed about, but the lower commitee chose to overlook.
Finally, the judicial department informed IFF by formal letter that Taj's criminal case was still pending.

The Taj case is not as difficult to understand as some claim.
With his claim that he would hire CQ if elected, Taj was quite successful in misleading CQ's ardent supporters. In reality, Taj stands a much better chance of going to jail than becoming the president of the IFF.

What kind of ridiculous clown rule bans someone from an election while they're under an investigation WITHOUT a conviction?

Despite disagreements and uncertainties, the IFF general assembly will convene as scheduled in 12 hours.

Members will vote to pick the IFF president and their deputies within two to three hours of the session, after formalities and the choice of vote monitors ( even if there may be additional surprises that cause a delay).
Two people are in charge of overseeing this procedure on behalf of FIFA and AFC.

Majedi may not make a remark because he is on the ballot out of courtesy, but Kamranifar is expected to explain why their election was called off and then resumed. He must give GA members an explanation of the reasons behind the reinstatement of the election, including whether it was due to pressure from the GA or a FIFA ruling. ( Is revealing the judicial letter concerning Taj going to be detrimental to Taj? )
Despite everything that has lately transpired, it is much preferable that the election be held as scheduled and that the members cast their votes.
Members will make their voting decisions based on their consciences in less than 10 hours. They will decide if they want to take a chance by rejecting the judiciary's letter about Taj and if they would vote for Majedi despite the current crises.
They will choose whether or not to cast a vote in retaliation against Taj and Majedi for Aziz Mohammadi

Ehsan Osouli, a member of the BOD, commented on the IFF election:

"The decision to call off the elections was made on Hassan Kamranifar's own initiative; none of the board members were involved ".
                "
We immediately called a special and urgent meeting, he said. Following our talks in this meeting, the Board of Directors decided that the decision made at tomorrow's meeting will stand after asking Kamranifar for justifications and supporting evidence ".
The Board of Directors (Rezaei, Haidari, Osouli, Afsharian, Barati, Majedi) did not accepted any of Kamranifar's justifications.

Kamranifar truly had lost his mind. A new version of Hamlet awaits.

There may well be a request for Kamranifar's resignation when the GA meets.

He is his own boss and has a free will.remember sending questions to FIFA or the AFC occasionally without first consulting the BOD?

Some conjecture on Kamranifar's recent contentious decisions.

Regardless of the outcome of the election, he will lose.
If Aziz Mohammadi or Taj prevail, they will be given the votes and the authority to nominate a new SG.
Kamranifar will likely be replaced if Majedi prevail. He was not picked by Majedi, but rather by his rival Azizi Khadem. When Majedi took over as acting director, he concentrated on firing two BOD members who were working illegally as well as two of Azizi Khadem's deputies, his legal team, and a number of other close friends.
With two deputies removed and a third being sentenced to prison, Majedi attempted but failed to replace Kamranifar but ultimately decided to cooperate with him.

When the head of Asl 90 of Parliament ( Pejmanfar ) opposed to Taj being a candidate, he added that those who disregarded judicial requests may be charged with obstructionism.
After getting the letter from the judiciary, he could have felt terrified.
