Just to confirm sorry that all of them were eventually rejected or just the three who did not have the required documentation etc.

              translated:

              Wilmots' sentence was finally issued.

The Iranian Football Federation must pay 3 million and 325 thousand euros to this head coach. (about 140 billion)

The original demand of Wilmots was 12 million euros, which was rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Due to inadequate needed documentation, 3 candidates were turned down.

To run for office, onlyAziz Mohammadi, Majedi, and Taj are eligible.

Since an appeal committee will make the ultimate decision, this is not an official verdict.

The official list will be released following the appeals judgment.

this discussion was firt brought up by old man
back in 1997ish...he wanted the current iran flag to be removed
from pfdc and ik and replaced by shiro khorshid flag..like articles
or any picture posted he wanted that edited to the flag AND ALSO he wanted the tem I.R to not be used.
we try to convince him one has nothing to do with love of fans for tm and the league.
                      this conversation is like
who came first chicken or egg
it will never get any where.

Mehdi Taj discusses Iran’s negotiations with Julen Lopetegui and Hervé Renard and why they were unable to agree on a deal for them to manage Iran’s national team.

The fact Taj was speaking to these managers shows he knows football and has the ability to reach out to world class managers. Wilmots was the fourth option - going by this clip and they needed someone on Iran’s bench.

if you sign wilmots for 8m dollars, for only 3,5 years, and ask him to be in iran for like one week every one month, clearly you dont understand football. Skocic took iran to WC for free paid in rial, not even toman, and he lived in iran basically 24/7 going to every god damn training even he could find.

besides going after renard and be willing to pay him 3m dollars a year wow but then how can you go from renard to wilmots? Its like going from a pomegranade to a banana

Not that I support Taj (a corrupt clown), but let's not forget on Paper Wiltits wasn't the worst option, and at least half of this forum had a massive hard-on when he was announced (not because of his tits, because of his resume).

And if you believe Taj is remotely telling the truth then we as fans haven't learned much. The guy is the dictionary definition of snake oil salesman. By the way, what is the countdown to his next heart attack due to stress and pressures of being involved with iff?

There is an irony in that the support of diehard supporters of CQ who has expressly said Taj is a liar and their diehard support for Taj who think he will fetch CQ!
