Because of arrest of Shohre Musavi numbers of DOB has reduced to 7 and unless she can attend next time meeting will not be considered authorized by FIFA.

t seems that Hassan Kamrani far has corresponded with the secretary general of FIFA and asked him if it is possible to hold a meeting of the board of directors in the presence of seven members, which FIFA has announced in response because the number of members of the board of directors is 11, two-thirds of the members are more than 7, and at least eight members are required to convene the meeting of the board of directors.

It is embarrassing that the vice president of IFF, Shohreh Moosavi, elected by general assembly last year is in jail. The case has to do with fraud committed by a company that has her and her husband as principles. As a result, IFF Board of Directors does not have the eight members (2/3 of 11) required for decorum. Gol bood, beh sabzeh neez araasteh shod. Couldn't get any better. As if the current BoD has shown competence and leadership at a crucial moment in the history of Iranian football (preparation for the first WC ever held in our region) and now they have yet another excuse on top of sanctions and "no money" to avoid their responsibilities. I don't know what exactly is on the agenda for the GA to be held on 5/31 but I hope they do something about this group of incompetent buffoons and hold them accountable.

Yes, that comment was similar to Azizi Khadem declaring that he had transformed the IFF from a poor federation to a wealthy one a week before his dismissal. He failed to mention that all the funds are blocked by FIFA due to sanctions. Kamranifar also failed to mention that IFF does not have the funds to pay Argentina and Brazil for friendlies. Both were minor technicalities of course

Perhaps it is the lack of intestinal fortitude otherwise known as guts or backbone.
Maajedi, the IFF acting president, does not have any backbone and is just cruising in the midst of a disaster. He has the audacity to show up to Football Bartar program and tell Misaghi in front of millions of viewers that IFF has reached stability. What a clown.

This is what happens when people have their own agenda rather than the short term and long term interests of football and TMs. I assume Maajedi could replace Kamranifar but he perhaps doesn't have the guts and is worried about his own future position. Osooli, the BoD spokesman, who heads the Khorasan Razavi football Board has pretty much disappeared from the scene after the Mashhad disaster with women being pepper sprayed outside the stadium; Seraji, another member of BoD, who is upset that he didn't get Maajedi's post after Azizi Khadem was dismissed, has his own agenda and has started a publicity stunt to get the illegal bonuses paid by Azizi Khadem back; the IFF VP, Shohreh Mousavi, is in jail for fraud. The whole IFF is in shambles and Skocic is enjoying his wife's cooking in Croatia and will come back before before end of May to "prepare" for a the camp in June to play who? Skocic should have stayed and fought for friendlies and other aspects of a preparation plan. He just wants to oversee the appearance in the WC and hope for a better paying job after TM. Where is Hasehmian? Where is Bagheri? Tot maybe? Is there anyone who cares to do something?

The ONLY positives are performances by our stars in Europe and perhaps Foolad's performance in ACL to a lesser extent.

BD controvercial member Seraji claims selection of TM technical Committee did not followed procedures and it's illegal.

He argued selection of TC did not have approval of members.

IFF BOD had a meeting this morning in Tehran to discuss, upcoming GA meeting and situation of TM preparation. Seraji controversial member did not participate in order to unrecognized the meeting.
Participation of 7 member is required.
Majedi, Osuli, Barati, Rezaeian, Afshrian & Heidari attended the meeting, to formally recognize the meeting Shohre Musavi attended via Skype.

Saraji conduct is unacceptable, if he has issue with others best is to attend and vote against decisions, he disagree but trying to sabotage this meeting (last week meeting was cancelled) only will give excuse to AFC. FIFA to resort to article 5 and appoint outside interference.
GA meeting is next month and all member there can decide fate of IFF officials and no need to invite AFC to decide.


Update:

There is a conflicting report that only 6 members participated. With only 6 members at meeting, decisions may be challenged.

So let me get this straight.. Our national football team's preparation towards the upcoming FIFA World Cup is undetermined because a member of the IFF is not getting a long with others in the Board? This must be some kind of a joke. I mean it can't be anything else, it has got to be a joke.

Who set up these board members to begin with? As in, who put these people in charge in the IFF? Was it Majles? Because they're obviously not competent enough to conduct their duties appropriately.
