incredible player, i haven't seen a better LB for tm myself. really sad what the sarbazi issue did to himOriginally posted by taremiscores View PostMehrdad Pooladi. What a great left back he was, was amazing in 2014 World Cup too.
That sarbazi issue really ruined his mental game or something, he capitulated during the Asian Cup vs. Iraq.

The biggest "what if" in our football was perhaps Moharram Navidkia.
Oozed with class, great mind, great player. Derailed by injuries because he was so heavily relied on by TM, U23, Sepahan etc. in a short period of time. Played in Bochum too.
How good was he? As good as Javad Nekounam. Never recovered from his injuries to be the player that he was."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Mehrdad Oladi
His PGL team blocked his transfer to La Liga (Xerez). I remember it was either Mobali or Kazemian who said this had devastated him. He was a real talent.

One of the best PGL teams ever. Built for foreign success and came so close. The really amazing thing about that team is it had a lot of grassroots success. Not many huge names or massive stars, but played as a cohesive team and were well coached.Originally posted by zereshk-ali View PostI watched the ACL final game they lost to Seongnam live in Tokyo.
Such a shame as I thought him and Khalatbari would bring it home, but they never really showed up that day.
