Thanks Arya jaan great stuff as always, I especially liked the questions on this one.Originally posted by Gol Bezan View Post
Good answers by Tott for the most part too - I don’t expect him to sound negative (even if being realistic about the situation is negative) but it would have been nice for him to acknowledge the hole we are in then follow it up with some optimism that you want from your coach/leaders.Team Meli Iran

Great podcast Arya!Originally posted by Gol Bezan View Post.....
I appreciate how you pressed him about the Uruguay friendly and caught him in his bullshit by mentioning what's the point of not going to Montevideo when all there was going to be in this camp was just goddamn 1 friendly.
I find it funny how Tot brings up traveling distance to Montevideo as an excuse as if Uruguay had suddenly changed places and wasn't always in South America.

I actually just got to the end. His answers in general made good sense and made positive impression, until the very end...
When asked about our biggest strength: "Our iranian heart will be the best when we need to be the best"
When asked what the plan is for when teams mark azmoun and taremi very tightly: "They are not just players. They are extraordinary players. We believe they will find a way to beat opponents"
Line one sounds like a roundabout way of saying inshallah yallah. Line 2 sounds like were hoofing and hoping. Lets hope he just doesnt want to give any details away
Oh and no plan for recovery/fitness for domestic guys at PEC. Great. I dont get why he says it doesnt make sense. Between now and september the domestic guys will be playing with their tokhm at home. Set something up in august to whip their asses into top shape

Thank you Arya jan for another great potcast. However, I am confused about this particular question and what CQ did before 2018 WC with PGPL players. Can you explain how CQ got players from all over the country to come to Tehran on a weekly basis and how did he use these weekly practices/recovery sessions? Why did the clubs allow this anyways? Seems like a logistic nightmare for very limited benefit especially if the player did not play in a Tehran based club. Even Tehran based players would have to travel to other cities for their weekly games too... Thanks.Originally posted by Gol Bezan View Post

Thank you so much for this interview, really great to have an open channel with the coaching staff. It says a lot for a guy like Tot to make himself accessible to the media outlets and podcasts for the fansOriginally posted by Gol Bezan View Post
