That was only like one game, though? Besides that, he was solid last game against Syria. Contributes both defensively/offensively and having a great season for Sepahan. Milad is faster (I agree), but there's more to football than pace.Originally posted by Omid177 View PostNope, he can't defend as good as Milad and also makes unnecessary fouls which can lead to a red card. Besides, Milad is faster than him.

Milad wasn't on form because he didn't have a club back then. His performance against Syria in the 1st leg was very bad but now he showed consistent good performances for AEK.Originally posted by Iranianarsenal11 View PostNoorafkan is better than Milad for Team Melli. Milad hasn't been Team Melli quality for a while now...

If Milad isn't expected to attack he is always the best option for left-back in my opinion. His challenge win ratio against attackers is phenomenal, i still don't get how he's so good at defensive headers for a guy who isn't a giant.
If he's expected to contribute to an attacking move then after all these years he still hasn't developed good tactical awareness or anticipation....

Would you rather see Noorafkan or Milad vs Mbappe? For Asian standards Noorafkan is enough but on the world stage we need a fast experienced player like Milad. Noorafkan makes good passes though.Originally posted by Leicester City View PostThat was only like one game, though? Besides that, he was solid last game against Syria. Well against France, of course Milad.Originally posted by Omid177 View PostWould you rather see Noorafkan or Milad vs Mbappe? For Asian standards Noorafkan is enough but on the world stage we need a fast experienced player like Milad. Noorafkan makes good passes though.
But with all due respect to Iraq, they are not France. For today, I think Noorafkan would be sufficient if we are going for a more offensive game plan.

His mother is Iraqi. He has every right to be in this team. It isn't like the Brazilians n the Qatar team handed passports! He's on the bench, and his name is Zidane IqbalOriginally posted by DR Strangemoosh View PostIs their young Pakistani-Brit playing?you can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth

In DR Strangemoosh defense, I don't believe he was trying to be discriminatory or rude when asking as it's not like him. I believe he was genuinely curious. But to answer the question, no, Iqbal is not starting and is on the bench.Originally posted by taha View PostHis mother is Iraqi. He has every right to be in this team. Easy there champ... I never even intimated he doesn't have a right to be on the team.Originally posted by taha View PostHis mother is Iraqi. He has every right to be in this team. It isn't like the Brazilians n the Qatar team handed passports! He's on the bench, and his name is Zidane Iqbal

excellent line-up... Saman needs to step up big time today and prove his worth..!! he looked unfit? or simply frustrated/broken the last 2 times i watched him play in club..! he's gotta bring a lotta energy to prove he is a starter worthy caliber candidate for TM in the run up to World Cup..!!
come on Sammy.... i believe in you
.... Let Go..!!
