Generally speaking if he wanna play Target Forward in Xabi's system he oghta put a spring in his steps and press harder from the top, Stay Fluid in the final 3rd and move into open spaces much quicker in order to make himself a bigger/easier to hit target for service....!!
probably Xabi is best off mostly using Sardar as False9 thus taking full advantage of his brilliance in transition and combination plays..!!
nonetheless, you can tell that azmoun is badly yearning for an attacking partner who's on the same wavelength so far as cleverness and quick decision makings for much faster combination plays in order to unlock pact defenses ..! i think barring Patrick and possibly writz the rest of lot in Bayer are too slow and stupid to read his movements thus serve him with much quicker and accurate service..!
today's games were especially frustrating to watch cause both Alireza and Sardar's opponents seem hell bent on putting 11 man behind the ball and parking the bus for vast majority of the games..!!

equalizer vastly reduces his chances of early subbing in 2nd half again..!! but Wirtz missing from squad improves those chances slightly..!!
barring few occasions bayer struggled mightily in transition game in first half, so perhaps xabi brings Sardar on as false nine to a more CM positioning to make up for that gross deficiency .... ??
these are the sorta inferior opponents that bayer need to get full points from in order climb their way to EU football table positions..!Comment
