Schick gets far more service than Sardar. Having said that it’s different when you come in with 10 man defending a 3-0 lead.

As expected no service or even desire to go forward as they were down to 10 men parking the bus. One good breakaway chance and amiri fucked it up instead of feeding him in.

Anyways, wonder if coach will play diaby as wing back next game with bakker being out? They dont have any other options there...

In that case sardar would partner schick up top. Probably their best lineup anyways.

honestly they are better off as a team w/o bakker in the line-up... he is such a koskhol useless footballer..
woulda thought that they pull back Hincappe to play LWB for next game...? but he got a bs Red card too... so probably move diaby there and again ... play more cautious football and try to muscle their way again into a positive result with Sardar likely on bench too..??

last season I remember they played diaby there a few times...

Fosu mensah could in theory play yhere but he is really more of a cb. Theyd certainly be offensively non existent down the left (as they were today).

Was just looking into it a bit more. Fosu Mensah played his games (limited due to injury) last season as a right back and Frimpong can play on the left. So that is how they may go dependent on if Fosu Mensah is fit enough to start.

of course when anything less than ideal happens to iranian players, its the end of the world (loss of form, injury, loss of xi place) and they either suck, the coach sucks, the team sucks, or we should just cancel legionairres altogether and everybody move back to iran

Meanwhile for rest of the world its normal football occurences. And yeah I am realistic and agree some of our players are just not good enough atm for various reasons (Ezatolahi, ARJ, milad) but others are going through normal times in career of footballer. If they dont carry loser mentality of some of their countrymen they will be stronger for it and come out the other side...

Sardar needs to just shut up and work right now. No other remedy. Double, Triple, Quadruple his work on the training ground and time analyzing his previous matches + recovering properly. Good news is, none of their offensive guys are performing, so he will get chances. Today, Coach tried to keep schick on long after he was clearly not doing anything besides losing the ball, in the hopes he could poach a goal and get his confidence up. Again it didn't happen. His leash for such performances will continue to get shorter, despite his record last season. If sardar keeps the pressure on and can score a goal here or there if subbed on, suddenly even in matches they decide for 1 real CF then there will be hard decision to make.

Doesn't seem like Hlozek is even fancied as a true 9 option either, and they have no other CFs after offloading alario, so clearly Sardar will have a big role to play.

Couldn't say it better. Sardar has been growing yet this is a new challenge and he needs to just keep his head down and work his tails off. That will be good for TM too!
