I just hope that Zenit still sign Aria Barzegar, who is trailing on their second team and do not sign him out of scorn.

by the way, leverkusen conducted their medical check of sardar.

Recommend him two weeks pause from training and then will start him on ze german fitness program to get his ass in tip top shape for their second half of the season charge.

Already a huge improvement from the zenit system...use and abuse with zero rest or consideration for his overall health just because their team was so lost without him

No spite. This is business. If he is good enough, they will sign him.

This make me want to buy FIFA 22 and do a career mode with Azmoun and Taremi up front.

Headline should read: The club's ties with Sardar Azmoun have been broken beyond repair apparently due to Zenit management's poor attitude over the past six months. He will join Bayer in the next few days.

yea man, idiotically benching him again during UCL games earlier too..! and kept declining fair offers from Lev etc last summer and this winter..!
bet sardar couldnt wait to stick it to them as soon as his contract permitted him to move elsewhere..!!?

all in all though his Zenit spell was a good and successful one and barring throwing some stones his way on the way out, the club treated him quite well, overall..!!

I am grateful to Zenit, they benefited Sardar as he did them. But no reason to be so scorned. This is a business and time to move on.

                        Dameh Sardar garm

I dont think he has hard feelings towards the club either. They took a very streaky young azmoun and turned him into the player teams like leverkusen felt no issue putting down almost EU20 million for despite him enterring final year of contract. He became a consistent goalscorer there, learned from some pretty experienced big personalities like Ivanovic, Rakitskiy, Zhirkov, Dzyuba and got a lot better at handling big pressure (since Zenit experience TM pressure became like nothing for him).

But I think he realized he needed to get a bit dirty when dealing with the imbeciles running transfer side of their operation. since departure of very reasonable and successful director of football, Italian ex Juve guy Ribalta (who brought sardar, Rakitskiy, and barrios to the club) they now have some Gazprom high up guy Medvedev, zero footballing/sporting experience running that critical department.

The result is 3 key players, azmoun, dzyuba, and rakitskiy all leaving on basically free transfers and a general lack of knowledge/reasonableness in negotiations with foreign teams. They will give azmoun up for 2 mio now...they could have 9X that fee + a sell on clause a few months ago

Not happy it got dirty in the end... I guess Zenit did all they could to keep Sardar but the guy just wanted to leave. End of the day it will be very difficult for them to replace Sardar, Dzyuba will also go so their attack will be bad. Both Zenit and Sardar benifited from eachother and they should part ways with respect.

I think Sardar also holds resentment because he got legit offers from Tottenham, Bayer Leverkusen etc. and Zenit rejected them all. Despite him telling them he wants to go. That's a couple of years off your career that you want to go elsewhere.

didnt realize they gonna be loosing rakitskiy this summer too..!!
that guy is the only solid option in their backline.... they'll be fool to lose him on the free too.... dont think they can boss the RPL after these 3 departing ... look for them to slowly lose ground in the RPL standings afterwards..! gonna take em a while to get replacements running full speed..!!
