These 3rd leave teams ( Leb/Syria/Iraq/UAE) all lose their stamina in crucial times and this is where they let up and give up. We have seen this multiple times when TM scores in Min 60+ after the opposing teams try and defend vigorously ! Even with Korea we did the same ! TM has a huge advantage here and this is why I never worry about playing these teams…
Yes this was a problem we used to have too where at 65 minutes everyone would be gassed on our team. The push our players received to go to Europe really changed this around for us. Our team overall looks a lot more fit and athletic than how our players would look like 10 years ago.

He hurt himself in a league game and will be out for 2 months.

Watch the replay from another angle. They made a clean cross straight to Heung-min Son who made a deep run and scored.
    Can't blame Beiro for that.

    daneshmand SKOVIC
is master of beating arab teams
his style get them tired in the first half
get their weak physical ability tired
and BOOOM all out attack second half
is the best way any iran nt coach has ever
    played arab nations.
we have won 6 stright matchs
    against them.
    HE TRIE SAME system against
korea but korea physics are great
    and almost scored 90+minute goal
against us which i am sure daneshmand
learned that system only work against
arab nations. we get 6 pt against lebnon and
syria and send kia team against iraq
    in tehroon.

I wouldn't wanna play Iran either if I was Hassan Maatouk. In his last 3 matches against Iran he lost 1-4, 0-4, 0-5
