Spain-Czech Republic. Spain.
Portugal-Serbia. Portugal.
Uzbekistan-Iran. Of course Iran.
Kazakhstan-Thailand. Kazakhstan is better, but Thailand play with a lot of heart. I am going for the upset win for Thailand.

Iran will face winner of Portugal-Serbia when TM Futsal beats Uzbakistan While Argentina will face Russia after they beat Paraguay. I rather play Portugal in this tournament. Unfortunately that would mean that if they beat Portugal (or Serbia) then in all likelihood they will face Brazil in the semi-finals. I am hoping by then they will have Tayebi back.

You are right. Iran will play the winner of Kazaks/Thai if Iran beats Uzbaks. The other teams in Iran's bracket are Spain and Portugal. Iran will play one of them, not both, basically whoever makes it as the winner of the other half-bracket.

So if Iran goes all the way it will probably be like this:

1- 1/16 Uzbak
2- 1/8 Khazak/Thailand
3- Semi Spain
4- Final Brazil

I went by the order of round of 16 match numbers here https://www.fifa.com/tournaments/men...1/match-center (I assumed they are in order) that means Uzbekistan vs Iran is match 42, winner of match 42 will play winner of match 43 and that's Portugal vs Serbia. That match will be match 47 and the winner of that one will play winner of match 48 that in all likelihood will be Spain or Brazil and my vote goes to Brazil. I am just going based on the order of matches and the schedule in the link above. I guess the bracket will be out tomorrow on fifa.com and we will find out.

On paper we got the 2nd weakest team (ranking) and therefore a great draw.I hope we can focus and win the next game.

I stand corrected. The order on the page I was looking at is not correct. nisfejahan and Team Melli fan are correct. The FIFA PDF here https://digitalhub.fifa.com/m/aea1d6...ule-170821.pdf has the correct match numbers and it matches Wikipedia posted above. So if we beat the Uzbeks we will face winner of Kazakistan/Thailand and if we beat them we will face either Portugal or Spain assuming they make it that far and then of course if we beat them we will face Brazil assuming they make it that far. I think we have a decent chance. We can win the next two matches without Tayebi but it will be great to have him for semi-final and then the final.

I can find several teams in the current knock out stage on that list which are way lower ranked than us, I am not sure what you are talking about? Iran is ranked 5th?
