For some of us it’s been passed down. My grandfather was a Shahin fan. When they shut that down Persepolis became the new club for Shahin fans. My dad and his brothers then grew to love the club and shared that passion with me.

Without Persepolis and Esteghlal we wouldn’t have the passion we have in Iranian football. It would be like Argentina without Boca and River Plate.
