If anything, this is an indication that every single game in this group is going to be hard and that there is no such a thing such as easy opponents. Especially Syria and Lebanon are notorious for dirty play, time wasting and getting under the skin of the opposing teams. Wouldn't be surprised if we drop some points against them.

Only watched the last 15-20 mins live, but now very extensive highlights.

It looks like Korea was totally dominating, not just in terms of possesion, but also attempts on goal.

Most were on target and several were great chances. A 1 or 2 goal lead would have not been undeserved.

Not sure if Lebanon can keep the tie or even win if they keep playing like this.

wow korea has nice passing, and quick play, but cant hit the goal for shit, and if they do its shots straight at the goalie. syrian goalie made few nice save eaven though the shots as desicribed above, was aimed straight at him. maybe its bcuz of the small feet idk :P
also, koreans were week on headers, we should really punish them at the corners we get.

also its their second home game. hope they draw it then they really at big trouble having to go long trips all the time..

i remember last time russia qualifications. they played us 2 games, 180 minutes plus extra time. and didnt have 1 shot at goal.. thats so pooor eaven if we had CQ sick defence.. they didnt eaven launch 1 shot from a shit angle

I've been following the conversation on Korean YouTube channels and there is an overwhelming sense of failure and impending doom among the fans. Most believe that the combination of being stuck in a group with middle eastern teams and the fact that the WC is in the middle east will make it especially difficult for them to advance. Some are saying that middle eastern teams are extra motivated to qualify just like Japan/Korea were to advance from their groups in 2002 because of geographical proximity/hosting the WC.
