Dont compare. We had no ball possesion. Look at the gameplay, playing chicken shit and just hope we get away with it is not the same as going makeing a good passing, haveing a few shots on target and showing something. Iran showed very little against Port, Arg and Spain. We did more than any of us tought we could do but still not the same as Japan. You cant compare us with Japan. That being said under Skocic I do believe we are headed in the right direction but slowly. Today's loss was more to do with missing key players, jetlag, lack of training time, and the legionnaires not getting match time. His selections were also a bit weak but every coach selects a few players we all can't wrap our heads around. I still believe this bump can serve us well in the future if we learn from it and prepare. It's in IFF hands to arrange friendlies and give Skocic a chance to maximize his team's potential. He clearly believes in Iranian football and has spoken about our potential.
